George W. Glennie Memorial Nature Salon:

The tenth George W. Glennie Memorial Nature Salon was a great success. We had the largest number of entries ever. Greater Lynn took first place with Charter Oak and Ware in second and third. Best of show was won by David Trask of Lynn. Special thanks to Yankee Chapter P.P.S. for donating a medal which was awarded as the chairman's choice. Lawrence, which officially entered this year for the first time, made a respectable showing, finishing in 8th place, just one point from receiving an honorable mention. John Lowe received a merit award.

Special thanks to all those who helped make it a success: Mary Buckley, John Lowe, Don and Mary MacLauchlan, Dick Morton, Susan and Jake Mosser, and Dick Pastor.
