"At the encouragement of my brother, Richard, I joined Merrimack
Valley Camera Club (MVCC) in 2000. Starting with a Nikon 6006, it did
not take long for the [shutter] bug to capture my spirit. I've not put
the camera down since! MVCC has been a great outlet for me as it has
taught me a lot about the craft, has allowed me to perfect my skill,
and offers a great social and friendly environment to do it all in.
Two thumbs up!"

From the "capture" side of photography, I like to
photography anything outdoors, especially lanscapes, seascapes, and
scenics. I've also grown quite fond of tabletop set-ups as it allows
me a level of control over every aspect of image that you don't always
get in the field. But most of all, I love photographing anything that
stimulates a creative imagination. At the output side I most enjoy
producing prints in color and black & white. In between and in
addition to producing "traditional" images, digital imaging and
manipulation to create the "creative" image is also a favorite
past-time.
