"I don't really consider myself a photographer, but I do like to take pictures and show others what I've been lucky enough to see. I like to travel, and solar eclipses are the driving force behind that. They provide a great opportunity to go places I never thought of going, or to go to places I've always wanted to go. With a solar eclipse, there is a great reason to finally go to these places, and it can't be delayed or rescheduled. I am relatively new to eclipse chasing... I started in 2001 with a trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana. Since then I've been hooked. Eclipses have taken me to Iceland (and the Faroe Islands and Greenland), Panama (and Costa Rica) and Niger. Next up – China/Tibet in 2008. "
